    Weltmusiker Lajos Dudas zählt zu den wichtigsten Jazzklarinettisten der Gegenwart. Als Komponist hat er viel beachtete Stücke für Orchester, Klarinette und andere Instrumente geschrieben.
    Die Klarinette ist typischerweise das Soloinstrument des traditionellen oder avantgardistischen Jazz, aber Dudas ignoriert dies. Ob er Mainstream,  „Free Jazz“, oder Bach spielt, Dudas ist immer einfallsreich und genial. Sein gewagtes Spiel zwischen Tradition und Avantgarde swingt bedingungslos und scheint zugleich den Jazz ständig um neue Zwischentöne zu bereichern. Die knapp einstündige 14 Stücke die nun exclusiv auf MUDOKS RECORDS veröffentlicht werden (ebenso als CD limited edition bestellbar) ist breit gefächert und zeigt Höhepunkte der vergangenen drei Jahrzehnten in wechselnden Konstellationen. Die CD beginnt mit einer rasanten Bach-Adaption und rundet mit atonalen Gedanken an Bach ab.

    World musician LAJOS DUDAS is one of the most important jazz clarinetists of today. As a composer, he has written widely acclaimed pieces for orchestra, clarinet and other instruments.
    The clarinet is typically the solo instrument of traditional or avant-garde jazz, but Dudas ignores this. Whether he's playing mainstream, "free jazz", or Bach, Dudas is always inventive and ingenious. His daring play between tradition and avant-garde swings unconditionally and at the same time seems to constantly enrich jazz with new nuances. The almost hour-long 14 pieces that are now being released exclusively on MUDOKS RECORDS (can also be ordered as a CD limited edition) are broadly diversified and show highlights of the past three decades in changing constellations. The CD begins with a fast-paced Bach adaptation and rounds off with atonal thoughts on Bach.
