Hubert Bergmann, piano, sopranino sax, Elmar Guantes, doublebass
Udo Schindler, Tenor sax, Sopran sax, bassclarinette, flute
To choose mainstream as a headline, approximately corresponds to the conception by David Thomas, who holds his songs for normal and human, what the listening habits outvoted but capital errors and abnormalities. The music on these CDs 6, the perception in the immediately obvious harmony of HUBERT Bergmann Piano & Sopraninosax, ELMAR GUANTES recommends on double bass and UDO SCHINDLER on tenor sax, flute as drawn & bass clarinet directly from the heart bloodstream. About 357 minutes resound improvisations of these three of 27 & 28.1. and 04.13.1996 in the basement of Domakateliers and in the Academy of Music in Munich. How mudoks had then promptly, even if only in excerpts on Slow and Physics (1996) documented, could be the hineinsteigern three in insane Kreativräusche. Where am amazed that Bergmann first does not play piano, but stands as the second blower whose Feuerzüngelei and Luftgeschlängel from Schindlers Sopranistik only stands like a flame, an air turbulence, on the other. How varied the could make, show equal to the second 24 min., Beginning as a flute-bass duet, with Munich bassist born in Innsbruck shows Champions League-ready. By Roland Heinz (Dada Congress) or with Hans Wolf in author Ensemble and the Occio Quartet fans out his (with Limpe Fuchs & Zoro Babel) and especially solo game developed art. Seeing then Bergmann still amazes me as lively trills dragon, now in contrast to the bass clarinet. Guantes swings his bow in order to install a bitten by a tarantula minuet, or has its strings to brass as a trampoline, boxing ring and fencing on to a matter of handing out some wild punches. Hard to say, what all is going on, at least not vitiated by the thought pallor Plinkplonking and no Fakirgeprickel in real time, rather full-bodied life Funny, without fear course before yellow, soprano (i) nospitzen sounds, Pip combing and hems. Guantes goads delirious trilling knocking, pecking and sawing still on, panache is the key, enough is never enough. The wealth of sounds that blow Schindler and Bergmann from their pipes is absolutely refreshing brain, also, or just because, anbranden the seething synapses against the skull. Miner acquaintance with Guantes goes back to the years when music still came out on cassette (Matrix, 1989) and bears, as last Ronin (mudoks, 2012) showed still fresh fruits. Meanwhile Bergmann harft to knarrigen bass lines and Schindlerschem Geflöte nevertheless already times inside the piano and the keys squirt ice crystals in contrast to rumorenen riffs of the left. The piano never meant under miner hands a taming of sound tide, but this does not preclude outright lyrical when Guantes there seems to do something on bass broken. In short, it may and should always enjoy also Vandermark and Parker, Kessler, Edwards and Flaten be, but not necessarily. Schindler, Guantes' and miner lifeblood is no less red, their music not one bit tamer. [BA 80 rbd]

[BA 80 rbd]

Recordings are snapshots of "changing circumstances" in which improvised music, such as lyrics can thrive as an expression of authentic life. Playing this always leads to a new way of looking at it, returning to the original of rhythm-sound and the meaning of speech....more
